Description
Welcome to our Gulf Coast island. One hundred acres of tropical vegetation surround our historic restaurant, inn and rental cottages. A panoramic view of Pine Island Sound, near Fort Myers in Bokeelia, is provided from the front porch of our open-air restaurant situated atop a thirty-eight foot Indian shell mound. There are no cars here, not even a paved road. You will find winding nature trails, waterfront views and total relaxation.
Our secluded and unpretentious island paradise offers friendly hospitality and an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Resort guests enjoy each other’s company, nature, fishing, shelling on nearby beaches, reading, writing, painting, boating, and — most of all — quiet and tranquility. Our restaurant and bar serves boaters from many ports who stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner and thirsty travelers frequent the lounge, famous for its festive atmosphere and Dollar Bill Bar.
Our goal is to offer our island visitors an atmosphere of friendly hospitality and relaxation. Our inn and rental cottage guests enjoy each other’s company, nature, fishing, shelling on nearby beaches, reading, writing, painting, boating, and – most of all – laid back, old Florida quiet and tranquility.
