Enjoy a relaxing 90-minute tour aboard Southern Star- Destin’s Original Dolphin Cruise! Cruise the pristine waters of the world’s most beautiful beaches, experience up close viewing of dolphins in their natural habitat, and view seabirds and a variety of other marine life. We are Destin’s Original Dolphin Cruise as seen on CNN and National Geographic Explorer, and recipient of Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence since 2011.

The Southern Star is an 80-foot motor vessel that is U.S. Coast Guard approved for up to 149 passengers, equipped with two restrooms, a covered upper deck with a drop-down enclosure, and a climate-controlled cabin. The two-hour cruise begins with a narrated tour of the Destin Harbor where the captain will give you some history about the area and point out some of the local spots. We then head out to the Gulf of Mexico, and if it’s calm enough, we will cruise just off the beach to find the dolphins. If the gulf is too rough, we cruise in Choctawhatchee Bay where we can also find the dolphins. Once we spot the dolphins, we spend time watching them and educating you on the species and their habits. We play island music, feed the birds, and offer hot dogs, snacks, sodas, beer, and wine available for purchase in our snack bar. Bring your family and come have fun with us!
